We now offer Automated Share Draft Returns sent by means of your PC.  Set-up is fast and easy, paper work is reduced, and safety and security is improved.

CD Rom

A component of the image product is an image capture front and back of each item within the daily share draft transmission onto a CD ROM. The CD ROM and a duplicate copy will be mailed to your credit union at the end of each month or upon request on a weekly basis. The duplicate copy serves as archival history at your location. The viewing software is very user friendly and can be loaded on any PC that has a Windows 2000 operating system or higher.

Remote Deposit Capture

Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) is a service that allows users to scan share drafts and transmit the scanned images to a financial institution for clearing. Checks you receive can be scanned to create an image-based deposit. This image is then transmitted to Cleveland State Bank, your RDC bank service provider. We can then accept the deposit, post the deposit to your account, and assign availability based upon your availability schedule.

The image quality and recognition component of the RDC software is one of the most important factors of the process. Therefore, we will ensure image quality at the point of capture which is critical to a more efficient process. There are many benefits and features to RDC that may be beneficial your credit union.

Web View

Another component of the image product is WebView Image Retrieval. WebView allows you to do research inquiries at our host site on items from your daily share draft transmission. This expanded service provides access to view signatures, endorsements, return items, and reported encoding errors for adjustment. Each credit union can assign authorized personnel with a User ID and password to access WebView for their institution. Please contact us on how you can sign up today. Our host site will retain images for 60 business days (equivalent to 90 calendar days) from the date of presentment.
